Course Description

Designed to give students a clear understanding of the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course entails and an overview of the industry, conducted on one of our campuses over a 3 day period.

Course content

Students will be informed about career pathway opportunities and course expectations to ensure they know what is required of them and what outcomes can be achieved, these include:

employer expectations

job roles

industry expectations and requirements

how agencies work

employment opportunities

course expectations – study workload

industry standards and compliance including OH&S

digital literacy requirements and support

online learning – introduction to Moodle including hands-on practice

additional services that Cire Training provide if extra training is required

Who should attend
Anyone looking to further their education, but are unsure which area to focus on. School leavers who are unsure about which career direction to take.

Taster courses are perfect for those wishing to gain information on a qualification before they make a commitment to register for a course.
