We were honoured to welcome The Hon. @gayletierneymp, Minister for Skills and TAFE, to @ciretraining and Cire Community Hubs.

The visit was a wonderful opportunity to showcase how our inclusive, accessible, and flexible pre-accredited training programs are transforming lives across the region. Minister Tierney heard directly from two remarkable students, Luke and Liam, who shared their personal journeys through our Certificate III in Individual Support program.

Both Luke and Liam started with pre-accredited courses like “Get Study Ready,” “Get Work Ready,” and “Get Placement Ready,” which helped them build confidence, foundational skills, and a readiness for formal training. With the support of their trainer, Cheryl Peacock, they found not just education but a safe space to grow personally and professionally. Cheryl’s commitment to understanding her students and fostering their success was highlighted as a key part of their transformational stories.

Community-led, flexible training like this is critical for shaping Victoria’s future workforce, and we are proud to play a role in equipping learners with the tools they need to thrive.

Thank you to Minister Tierney for recognising the importance of programs like ours, and to our students and staff for sharing their incredible stories.
