Trainer and Assessor – Education Support

About the role

Cire Training is a professional RTO based in Lilydale. We are dedicated to making a difference to our students’ experiences, focusing on creating a culture that supports development, inclusion, and engagement. You will be joining a team that is committed to service excellence and will receive the tools and support to ensure your success.

Reporting to the RTO Manager, the Trainer and Assessor will deliver Cire’s Certificate IV in School-based Education Support (CHC40213) in a blended virtual classroom and face-to-face environment. With resources at the ready, you will provide training and assessment services in accordance with RTO procedures. Regular attendance will occur onsite at our locations across the eastern suburbs, and onsite student assessments will occur during placement periods.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity at our head office in Lilydale.

Our experienced TAEs are focused on the student experience and are passionate about teaching and preparing future education support personnel. They take pride in delivering high quality and industry-relevant training and assessments and ensuring our course offerings are compliant with industry regulations and standards.

About you

As an engaging and collaborative trainer and assessor, you will:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Education Support or Bachelor of Education
  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Have relevant industry experience that allows you to connect theory to practice within the sector
  • Be dynamic and creative in your approach whilst delivering quality training and assessment to ensure the student and learner experience is a positive one
  • Have experience adapting content and style to different ability levels and interests
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build rapport with students and maintain their engagement
  • Be a team player that recognises the importance of a strong team culture and the need to collaborate in a friendly and supportive manner
  • Have sound organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Hold a valid and current Victorian Driver’s License with access to a reliable car
  • Be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, willing to be vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption, per the government mandate
  • Currently hold, or are willing to undertake, certifications including a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
