Junior Years Program

At Cire, we understand the importance of Year 5 and 6 in setting up a successful transition to secondary school or our middle years program.

Cire Community School’s junior years program establishes routines and trust for young students to feel safe in their environment. This sense of safety and belonging is an essential foundation for learning.

Discover Our Curriculum

Cire Community School’s junior years program provides a foundation that seamlessly supports the transition to middle years education, combining play-based aspects of primary school with added responsibilities of later years.

Each student walks their own path towards resilience and confidence, supported by a caring and skilled team as they progress through their journey.

Soft Hearts | Hard Feet

Soft Hearts speaks to empathy, compassion, and the unwavering belief in the potential of every young person and caregiver. We hold unconditional positive regard to the person beyond behaviour, and respond with kindness and respect.

Hard Feet reflects resilience, consistency, and the courage to walk alongside others through difficult terrain. We set and maintaining boundaries, being dependable, and modelling strength as a protective force that allows the Soft Heart to flourish.

This duality is essential in trauma-informed practice, therapeutic care, and educational leadership.
