Are video games really bad for your child? Should you let them play violent games? If these topics grab your attention then a series of free Cire workshops may be for you.
Join our local gaming expert, Jarred Kellerman, in the three-session parent workshop and learn about:
- The cognitive and developmental benefits of video games
- How parents can become involved in your child’s gaming experiences.
- Why addictive behaviours emerge and how to set boundaries.
The workshops will be held at Yarra Junction Community Hub on Wednesdays 1st May, 29th May & 26th June.
Jarred has a Bachelor of Psychology, a Masters in Counselling and a Graduate Diploma in Education. He is also a former secondary school wellbeing coordinator.
