As we continue to expand our reach in the community, Cire is seeking a Community Hub Team Leader to join us in this newly created position. Reporting to the Community Hubs Manager, this role is a unique opportunity for a community-minded person who enjoys developing strong community partnerships and managing stakeholder relationships.

A Day in the Life of our Community Hub Team Leader

Leading a small team of passionate Customer Support Officers, this role supports day to day operations, activities and events at the Yarra Junction and Chirnside Park Community Hubs.

This role is varied and every day is different. You will need to be highly organised to manage and contribute to the fast pace and growth of our business.

Some of the areas you will be responsible for are providing a positive experience to community members, leading a high-performing team, building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, business development for the Hub and supporting volunteers to achieve Cire’s objectives.

Who Are You?

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for working with the community and genuine interest in building effective partnerships and programs that meet community needs. You will have strong administration and coordination skills; intermediate to advanced computer skills are necessary.

As someone with a background in community development and customer service, you will be dynamic in your approach and a team player who understands the value of collaboration. You will be able to quickly, effectively and proactively engage with stakeholders at all levels to help grow the business. Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure your success.

This is a part-time, ongoing position based at Chirnside Park and Yarra Junction. You will work 4 days per week (30.4 hours). Some travel may be required to other sites.
