Copywriter – Large Community Based Not for Profit

Cire Services is looking for a Copywriter/Content Specialist to join our supportive and collaborative Marketing, Communications & Partnerships team based onsite at the Lilydale Head Office. In this newly created FT position, we are looking for someone who has a real passion for crafting engaging content, someone who is driven building immaculate copy and an individual that isn’t afraid to challenge the norm.

The role offers the opportunity to create content across various digital channels, identify and prepare grant applications, and work collaboratively with different teams to drive results. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative concepts that align with our brand voice and strategy.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience in Copywriting and/ or content writing experience with the ability to tailor your words to a brand, audience, and specific channels.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how content impacts search engine rankings.
• Experienced in developing blog content with an understanding of SEO practices.
• Proven capacity to be able to immerse yourself in an organisation to develop an intricate knowledge of each business unit and their unique requirements.
• Experience managing the end-to-end grant lifecycle including research, administration, proposal writing and reporting (desirable, not essential)
• Conduct in-depth audience and industry research to inform content strategies.
• A critical thinker and creative problem solver who can brainstorm big picture ideas while paying attention to detail.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of building successful networks both internally and externally to enhance Cire brand awareness.
