Early Learning and Community Engagement Manager
About the role
Exciting new position to lead and support a portfolio of services across our early childhood services. Reporting into the Executive Manager Early Learning, this role will help shape pedagogical and educational leadership and help drive community engagement across our services.
- Coach, mentor and support the team in your portfolio of services to provide high quality education and care to the children at our services.
- Support and mentor the team to build strong partnerships with families and other stakeholders.
- Guide and support the team to provide an inclusive and culturally safe environment for all children and families.
- Ensure that your services are compliant with all company policies and regulatory requirements and that these are embedded into practice.
- Manage financials and performance management across our services
- Identify potential risks for the business regarding demographic changes, competition and expansion opportunities.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies and approaches to meet and deliver innovative programs across our services and community.
- Investigate potential grant opportunities that support innovative programs across our communities.
- Represent Cire Early Learning in community partnerships and networks across our communities.
- Influence effective community engagement program design and delivery by researching and identifying the specific issues, needs and interests of target audiences through timely and relevant consultation mechanisms.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance and legislation, including a solid background in the Early Childhood Sector
- Excellent leadership, motivational skills and experience with conflict resolution and workplace relations.
- Strong business acumen, including a good understanding of financials.
- Ability to drive pedagogical and educational leadership.
- Proactive approach to community engagement along with experience working with community based or local government committees.
- Proven ability to drive partnerships with organisations, business and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills to develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Proven project-management and organisational skills to manage work within agreed standards and timelines.
