About the role

The Executive Manager, Education reporting directly to the CEO assumes a strategic role in the overall management of both Cire Community School and the broader Cire wide organisation. The role encompasses the financial management, education strategic direction and overall development of education programs and principles based on student needs.

This role will ensure Cire continues to be competitive and a respected leader in the delivery of educational services within the community. The role demands a visionary approach that is innovative and strategic and is underpinned by strong business and financial acumen.

About you

As a member of the Executive Team you will drive change, collaboration, educational strategic direction and operational excellence to ensure we continue to deliver against Cire’s 5 year strategic plan.

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have significant experience (5-7 years) within an Educational Senior Leadership role and come from a corporate or large highly complex organisation. You will also be comfortable and have experience in Financial/Budget Management.

  • Demonstrated experience as a strong and confident leader with the ability to build respect, effectively communicate and empower others.
  • Strong background in strategy, policy implementation and service delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated commitment to community.
  • Hold a valid and current approved Victorian Driver’s License.
  • Currently hold, or be willing to undertake, certifications including a Working with Children Check, Australian Right to Work Check, and National Police Check.
