This course offers students a basic knowledge MYOB principles and functionality. This course includes:

How to create a company file,

using accounting software (MYOB),

How to record and track business transactions – sales, purchases, payments, inventory, payroll, BAS,

How to generate and customise reports,

How to save and backup a MYOB file.

Creating & using custom lists

Fields & identifiers

Customising forms e.g. invoices, orders

Setting up and managing Jobs

Inputting and managing Budgets

Creating and using categories for cost centres

Setting up security measures using user ID’s & passwords

Auto-build inventory items

Importing & exporting data from compatible files

View and use Officelink templates, useful for Word form letters

Setting up and using time billing to bill customers for business hours and/or projects

Managing timesheets in payroll

End of month & end of year checklists, e.g. payments summaries

Backing up and restoring files.
