EmpowerHer: Build Skills. Find Support. Shape Your Future.
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re facing barriers like isolation, financial stress, or discrimination. EmpowerHer is a free 12-week program starting early 2026 for women (including trans women and non-binary people) who want to build confidence and take steps toward independence.
Proudly supported by Australian Neighbourhood Houses and Centres Association (ANHCA) and funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services
What to Expect:
- Weekly workshops on digital literacy, financial literacy, communication, self-advocacy, and personal development
- Access to service providers for housing, counselling, legal aid, and employment support
- A safe, welcoming space at Cire Community Hubs where you can learn and connect
EmpowerHer recognises that everyone’s experience is different. The program gives you room to explore your goals, strengths, identity, and values in ways that feel right for you. It’s practical, supportive, and grounded in real-world needs.

Time: 10-11:30AM
Yarra Junction
Location: Ground Floor, 39-43 Little Yarra Road, Yarra Junction
Time: 2:30-4PM
Days: Thursdays, starting 5th March, 2026.
March: 5, 12, 19, 26
April: 3-week gap for Easter, school holidays, resumes 23, 30
May: 7, 14, 21, 28
June: 4, 11.
