Prue Stevic

Campus Principal Monbulk

Prue has spent many years in alternative education, drawing on expertise in special education, inclusion, and early intervention. After a decade leading at another special school, she found her place at Cire, where she progressed from Director of Teaching and Learning, to Assistant Principal, before becoming Campus Principal at Monbulk.

What drives Prue is the privilege of leading Cire’s largest campus, where a skilled staff pool offers students specialised programs rarely accessible elsewhere. From music and outdoor education to independent living skills and wood technology, staff passions become student opportunities. For Prue, it’s about creating pathways; whether students are developing existing interests or discovering new ones.

At the heart of her role is conversation. She values time spent talking with students, understanding what matters to them, and ensuring their voices shape decisions. Prue knows many arrive disengaged and unsure about school. She’s committed to building a place of safety where students feel wanted, where they can be themselves, and find success on their own terms.
