Introducing Early Childhood Education and Care

This innovative course is an introduction to the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector. You will use Virtual Reality (VR) technology and robotic babies to practice foundational ECEC skills in a hands-on, immersive environment. This unique learning experience enhances understanding through realistic scenarios to build your confidence and competence in early childhood skills.

Graduates of this course will gain foundational skills and knowledge to support effective practices in early childhood learning, focusing on play-based education and positive interactions. The program also covers career planning and progression within the ECEC sector, workplace skills such as communication and numeracy, the use of digital tools, and essential occupational health and safety practices.

Cire Training actively supports students to find and complete their required placements by working in partnership with local employers and community organisations. Our dedicated team assists with preparation, placement coordination, and ongoing support to ensure students gain valuable, hands-on experience in real-world settings.

The course introduces cutting-edge learning techniques, blending hands-on and online practice with Virtual Reality and brand new robot babies to simulate an early learning environment. Students will develop practical skills and build confidence in a safe and collaborative space before further study and placement.
