Description
Need something fixed?
Bring your broken items- clothing and fabric, digital and electrical, tools and other general items to the Repair Café, a volunteer-led project dedicated to keeping items out of landfill. Not only will you receive expert repair and diagnostic services, but you will also gain valuable skills and knowledge-sharing opportunities during the repair.
Join us on our mission to reduce waste from landfill and preserve our planet! We can also diagnose problems and refer for parts.
The Repair Café is an international movement that provides a platform for community members to set up a repair cafe. With an increased focus on sustainability and reducing our waste, it’s great to know that there is a place where you can have beloved items fixed instead of throwing them away.
We are always looking for new community members to join our Repair Cafe Team as Repairers or Helpers, so please reach out if you have skills to share and want to connect with your community.
Repair Cafes runs once a month from 10am to 12pm at Cire Community Hub – 33 Kimberley Drive, Chirnside Park.
