Julian Carle – Chair
As co-Founder and Chief Executive of corporate education group, Synergen, Julian is passionate about leadership. He lives it, breathes it and has designed his company and career to further develop leaders into the best leaders they can be.
Involved in leadership education for more than 14 years, Julian has worked across a range of companies and industries from small not-for-profit organisations to top ASX firms. He has trained hundreds of leaders in accredited and non-accredited programs, created a Certified Master Trainer program and authored books on mentoring and leadership.
Given his background in education and determination to give back to the community, Julian considers Cire to be a perfect fit and he feels privileged to be leading the organisation as Board Chairperson.

Janet Xi – Treasurer
As an experienced finance professional, Janet is a qualified Chartered Accountant and consultant at Deloitte, with a focus on delivering a range of finance advisory services to not-for-profit organisations as well as large federal and state government agencies.
With a strong analytical background, Janet has a keen interest in assisting organisations to streamline their accounting and reporting functions in order to drive informed decision-making processes.
Janet joined the Cire Board because she aspires to apply her skills and experience to deliver a positive social impact on the local community.
She believes in the importance of quality education and giving learners of all ages an opportunity to grow and thrive.

Louise Brockway – Secretary
Having grown up in the Dandenong Ranges and lived and worked in regional Victoria for most of her life, Louise Brockway moved to the Yarra Valley with her family in 2015 and established her legal practice in Warburton.
Louise is a strong advocate for making educational opportunities and supports available to children and young adults. She believes that organisations like Cire Services play a vital role by supporting, enabling and empowering individuals, at any stage in life, to achieve their goals.
Louise is excited to be part of the Board of Directors and to use her skills and experience for the benefit of the organisation and the community.

Robyn Dew – Board Member
Robyn Dew describes herself as an educator, first and foremost, with a love for learning and teaching.
A Mt Evelyn campus teacher at Yarra Hills Secondary College, Robyn’s career highlights have centred on students discovering new skills and knowledge and watching their talents emerge.
Having worked at Yarra Hills Secondary College for more than 25 years, Robyn has seen Mt Evelyn grow into a very collegiate and united town.
Robyn’s involvement with Cire was a natural pathway given her love of learning, and drive to ensure that educational opportunities are available to people of all ages.

Andrew Mosley – Board Member
A policy, strategy and communications professional, Andrew Mosley also has a strong background in education and health. He has worked for organisations such as the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Victorian Department of Education and Training, the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership and Beyond Blue which works to address mental health issues.
Andrew holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Communications, a Bachelor of Public Policy and Management, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours). He has a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management, is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and also sits on the Board of Carringbush Adult Education which is based in Richmond and focuses on equipping people with English skills for the workplace.

Graeme Mawson – Board Member
As a Board member, Graeme brings over twenty years of working with local communities; through professional experience with community service organisations and in local government.
Graeme has seen first-hand the difference organisations such as Cire make in the lives of young people and their families. He has served on numerous committees including early childhood education and care, mental health, emergency relief and learning and employment.
Graeme has qualifications in youth and community development, training and leadership, and is currently completing his Masters of Business Administration.
With a passion to see local organisations thrive and empower their community, Graeme believes Cire is committed to growing and developing people of all ages to impact their world.

Aspasia Papalitsas – Board Member
With over 15 years of experience within the corporate sector, Aspasia joins Cire with extensive experience across various sectors and roles including business development, sales, account management, operations and customer service.
Her most recent experience is within Disability Employment Services and the Mental Health sector.
Aspasia’s passion over the years has been working with teams and assisting individuals to help overcome barriers they are facing so that they are able to live a life of choice and opportunity.
As an active member of the Yarra Valley Community, Aspasia is looking forward to bringing her experience and expertise to help grow and support the incredible work that Cire Services currently offers the community.

Dr John Doyle – Board Member
John is passionate about the impact of education on people’s lives. He’s worked in research, strategy and teaching roles in the education sector since 2012, most recently at Brighton Grammar School and La Trobe University. John participates in Deakin University’s FutureME mentoring program for secondary school students and is a former primary school council president.
John was previously a corporate executive and board director in the telecommunications sector and, earlier, worked for federal government agencies in Canberra.
His qualifications include an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a PhD from La Trobe University. He’s currently an honorary research fellow in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at La Trobe University and an associate of the Contemporary Histories Research Group at Deakin University.
