This course is an entry-level qualification to begin a career in educational support. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, you’ll learn to support students in developing their key literacy, numeracy, and language skills, and assist the teachers in maintaining a friendly, productive learning environment.

Develop your communication skills and work effectively with diverse students, ensuring their safety and contributing to their learning experience.

To achieve this qualification, you must complete a minimum of 100 hours of work in a primary or secondary school classroom environment in Australia. The total number of hours may be applied collectively across all units of competency that include the requirement for workplace hours.

At Cire Training, we actively support students to find and complete their required placements by working in partnership with local employers and community organisations. Our dedicated team assists with preparation, placement coordination, and ongoing support to ensure students gain valuable, hands-on experience in real-world settings.
