Trainer and Assessor – First Aid

About the role

Cire Training is a professional RTO based in Lilydale. We are dedicated to making a difference to our students’ experiences, focusing on creating a culture that supports development, inclusion, and engagement. You will be joining a team that is committed to service excellence and will receive the tools and support to ensure your success.

As a TAE-qualified and industry-experienced Trainer, you are able to deliver accredited workskills short courses to both adult and school-aged students in one or more of the following qualifications:

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID012 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

You enjoy working with students in a small class size environment, using best practice approaches and resources to maximise learning.

About you

As an engaging and collaborative trainer and assessor, you will:

  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Have relevant industry experience that allows you to connect theory to practice within the sector
  • Be dynamic and creative in your approach whilst delivering quality training and assessment to ensure the student and learner experience is a positive one
  • Have experience adapting content and style to different ability levels and interests
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build rapport with students and maintain their engagement
  • Be a team player that recognises the importance of a strong team culture and the need to collaborate in a friendly and supportive manner
  • Have sound organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Hold a valid and current Victorian Driver’s License with access to a reliable car
  • Currently hold, or are willing to undertake, certifications including a Working with Children Check and National Police Check

Cire Services Incorporated is a uniquely ‘local’ not-for-profit (NFP) organisation. Cire is one of the largest NFPs serving the Yarra Ranges’ diverse population and recently established itself in the City of Casey and Kardinia.
